Construction Update WIS 20: The planned closure of the County ES north leg has been delayed one day to Thursday, July 18th. The severe weather the last two nights threw too much rain at us to work very effectively yesterday and today. I know moving this date twice not isn’t helpful, but it is the best option to ensure the project can meet the 21-day closure. We will work to update all the message boards along County ES as quickly as possible.

The large oak tree on the west side of the boat launch parking lot is filled with what appears to be a very large ground bees nest. There is a large swarm around and inside of the tree. DPW did attempt to spray the tree, however, the bees prevailed for now.

PLEASE avoid the area as these are aggressive bees and they are able to sting more than once.
