CONSTRUCTION UPDATE- WIS 20:   The County ES north leg work is ongoing, and the rough schedule outline below has been updated – which is still very weather depended. WIS 20 between County L and WIS 83 is moving along as well. We continued installing storm sewer near the county line and that should be completed today. The CN railroad crossing work is scheduled for the week of August 4th with our work picking up once they are completed. WIS 20 (East Troy) Traffic: 1) Access to Bower’s Produce can be made by continuing east on WIS 20 from County L (East Troy) 2) Access to Green Meadows can be made by going west on WIS 20 from WIS 83 (Waterford) 3) Access to Kwik Trip during the County ES closure will be using County ES coming from the Mukwonago direction (North). 4) Access to Culver’s will be by using WIS 20. This Week: 1) Roadway excavation and rock placement 2) Storm sewer installation 3) Curb and gutter staking (little pink flags everywhere) 4) Possibly begin curb and gutter tomorrow. Next Week: 1) Finish curb and gutter 2) Fine grade the gravel and prep for asphalt paving. 3) Possibly begin asphalt paving on 8/3 County ES North Leg Closure (Tentative and very weather dependent) 1) Curb and Gutter Installation and time for the concrete to gain strength (7/27 to 7/31) 2) Fine grading and prep for asphalt (8/1 to 8/2) 3) Asphalt paving (8/3 to 8/7) 4) Pavement marking (8/8) We are working on ways to accelerate these durations, but this is a rough outline for the full 21-days (if needed). WIS 20 - County L to WIS 83 (Waterford) Traffic: 1) Access to Bower’s Produce can be made by continuing east on WIS 20 from County L (East Troy) 2) Access to Green Meadows can be made by going west on WIS 20 from WIS 83 (Waterford) 3) Access to Witte Landscaping can be made by going west on WIS 20 from WIS 83 (Waterford) 4) Once the guardrail is removed on WIS 20 along Honey Creek/County Line area, the barricades on either side of the “Fully Closed” section will be tightly closed as the roadway is no longer safe to allow vehicles through (other than EMS). 5) CN railroad crossing is scheduled for August 4th. This Week: 1) Remove existing guardrail 2) Finish installing erosion control devices 3) Being storm sewer installation Next Week: 1) Continue storm sewer work when County ES storm sewer is completed. Long Term (2+weeks) 1) Begin patching operations around 8/12 2) Begin asphalt paving once the CN railroad crossing is completed.
