Hello,

 

With the weather finally letting up, the WIS 20 Stage 2 traffic implementation is ongoing and will be mostly completed today. Some minor work will continue tomorrow but traffic will be moved into their temporary home today until mid/late June according to the latest schedule update (weather dependent).  

 

The I-43 SB entrance and NB exit ramps will close today at some point, the official/signed detour is to use I-43 to get to WIS 83 and then come back to WIS 20 (see attachment). We will keep the message boards on I-43 to help alert drivers to the closure for the next week to help with the transition.   

 

This Week:

1. See the Stage 2 Project Brief for a layout of what the traffic configuration will look like later today
2. When Stage 2 is set up, the I-43 detour will be utilized as shown on the project brief.  

 

Next Week:

1. Begin breaking and removing the old concrete roadway
2. Install erosion control devices
3. Begin storm sewer installation

 

Future Work (2 weeks+)

1. Not much to add here, we will be removing the old road, installing storm sewer, and grading for the foreseeable future.
